POSITION REQUIREMENTS

In this position, you'll be required to:

  • Lead bar prep and take responsibility of bar staff, cleanliness, preparation, and guest satisfaction at every level
  • Know how to prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails
  • Greet bar area guests in a welcoming fashion, serving each and every guest with a friendly and helpful demeanor
  • Manage bar staff and assisting wherever needed; this is a hands-on, lead-by-example role
  • Know all menus by heart, and serve as well if not better than the highest quality server or bartender, utilizing your additional experience and maturity to lead out in this capacity
  • Maintain an enthusiastic, welcoming disposition that's focused on prompt service and complete guest satisfaction

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Take orders promptly and accurately, know both the drink and food menus well, including how to best serve guests' dietary restrictions
  • Transmits orders by recording guests’ selections and identifying all special dietary needs and special requests

  • Assist in preparations as needed or as directed, and always look for opportunities to assist your colleagues

  • Know the menus well, including how to best serve guests' dietary restrictions, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and accurately answering all food preparation questions
  • Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests’ selections and identifying all special dietary needs and special requests
  • Maintain an enthusiastic, welcoming disposition that's focused on prompt service and complete guest satisfaction
  • Assist as needed or as directed, and always look for opportunities to assist your colleagues
  • Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to spills or other guest needs
  • Concludes dining experience by acknowledging the guests, thanking them, and inviting them back
  • Obtains revenues by totaling charges, accepting payments, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules as required, including weekends and some holidays

  • Service Experience: Two years minimum experience as a server required

Must have grill and sauté experience, with varied experience including pantry and expo desired. Must be very teachable and eager to learn and operate as a part of a team.

  • Assist in preparation of all prep and menu items as needed
  • Must maintain a professional and welcoming attitude while at work
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout workspace

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age based upon state requirements to serve alcohol

Responsibilities

As Hugo's Invitados' Director of Sales, you will be responsible for personally overseeing the development and growth of our outbound sales efforts, driving future events and initiatives, and collaborating with our marketing team in creating dynamic, multifaceted branding opportunities.

In this role, you will...

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate and brand goals and objectives
- Conduct strategically research and outreach to third parties
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing partners
- Collaborate with Director of Brands and marketing department on key partnerships and strategies to maximize sales opportunities and campaign implementations
- Conduct sales meetings (both solo and in collaboration with marketing and management) with outside vendors and potential partners
- Assist in the development of our sales team, providing guidance and support
- Maintain and develop relationships with current and potential clients
- Conduct market research to stay updated on market and industry trends
- Manage timelines and deliverables, and provide regular reports to management
- Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Continually learn about the industry to maximize knowledge base and opportunity

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a similar senior sales role
- Strong leadership and self-starting skills with high work ethic
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and best practices
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- A passion for creative execution and delivering exceptional results
- Experience with spirits/alcohol and restaurant hospitality industries preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
